HOROSCOPES
            Week of September 18, 2008
             ARIES
Take the advice of the fox, a character from Antoine de Saint Exupery's "The Little Prince"-  "The only things you learn are the things you tame.  People haven't time to learn anything.  They buy things ready made in stores.  But since there are no stores where you can buy friends, people no longer have friends.  If you want a friend, tame me."Apply this motto/advice to your inner warrior as well as all the wild animals on the street.  Use your heart's muscle to have your intimate way with them.
Aries of the Week: "Letter from Birmingham Jail"
           TAURUS
You won't be needing any weapons, bulls. You'll just need to get down on your knees, then let your heart lead you blind. The less resistance you bring, the less painful, and more pleasant the experience can be. The feelings you're sure to get in touch with are meant to be a source of ultimate enjoyment, despite any "trouble" in arriving.
Taurus of the Week: Adrienne Rich
           GEMINI
You belong among the wildflowers. It's true. The land is wanting you right now: but not to pass judgment upon you. The quiet earth longs only to provide relief. It is entirely safe there dudes, so you can let all your guard down/take your clothes off. The support is there for the purpose of your nakedness, wild one.
Gemini of the Week: Hands Across America
           CANCER
There's no need to feel conflicted about any of the love you once gave. For it lives on and well, past what you could ever see, even with your many eyes. Long beyond what you're around to witness, the care you gave flys onward, straight into the light, where it lives on with an everlasting intensity.
Cancer of the Week: Gary Busey
           LEO
You're gonna have to put the pieces together, no matter how much emotion you're feeling. You'll also have to figure out a way to articulate the strength of all the electrical waves passing through you. I have just two suggestions then. One-post a sign letting all your fans know that their favorite cat is on vacation, until further notice. Two-belt it out, in your own private lair. Sing from your soul about the depth of your feeling. Wail through your tragi-comic heart beats, long into the night, until you finally break through to the day.
Leo of the Week: Lisa Kudrow
           VIRGO
To say "holy garden" would be redundant, no? Oxymoronic? All gardens are sacred, right? Well, that's the idea virgo, so I'd suggest casting your medicine net around those people and places that you love, gracing them with your presence, enlightening them with your smile, capturing them with your simple beauty and earthly charm. Let's start there.
Virgo of the Week: Paul Oakenfold
           LIBRA
Keep steady, scales. Dance between the extremes, while doing your best to understand them. Take the best of what both have to offer, tailoring them at your liberty in order to serve your cause. Do the proper twisting and bending in order to go beyond the limitations of either side. Use your exacting eye to skip/erase all parts that are un- needed.
Libra of the Week: Elisabeth Shue
           SCORPIO
Heaven is...letting go. Ecstasy is...total communion with life, free of expectation as well as doubt. The less you try to understand this week, the better a time you are promised. The fewer questions you ask regarding why or how, the more certain you can be of the gifts in your midst. Cease to search for what comes after or before. This lets the moment reveal its lovely self most fully to you.
Scorpio of the Week: Natalie Merchant
           SAGITARIUS
This week, while working in San Francisco, I was surrounded by a unique type of ancient and vibrant nature. I decided to let these trees and plants do all the talking/explaining. As I suspected, they had ALL the answers, and put my mind most immediately to rest. They were honest as well as comforting, certain and also firm. After cleansing my body, mind and spirit, they finished me off with one of their favorite messengers- a tiny hummingbird, who cruised past me at a continued altitude, laughing hysterically...
Sagitarius of the Week: "Doctor Who"
           CAPRICORN
A long time ago, you planted a seed. Now it's scheduled to bloom. I thought I would let you know so you can get a front row seat. It'll be spectacular and moving, a personal moment of shared triumph which will not come again in this form. Be there then, for the live unfolding of it's raw beauty.
Capricorn of the Week: Stephen Stills
           AQUARIUS
Follow the yellow brick road, water bearer. Ease on down the road, exhibiting the freedom granted to the spirit to roam through the universe. Such an idea is difficult to translate and is best deciphered through movement and mimicry. Show, in your moves, and direction, the way to cruise smoothly past fear and illusion.
Aquarius of the Week: Michael Jordan
           PISCES
Fish, do what you must. Exhibit the groove that's way down in your soul. Let all rivers run through you, via the pathways of your laughter as well as your tears. Let it all come rushing through, taking the innocent bystanders with it. Together, may you all sail swiftly out into the wider, wilder, deeper, more extraordinary seas.
            Pisces of the Week: Skee-Lo
